It goes without saying that the last few days our world as we know it has undergone massive upheaval. With so much uncertainty and chaos occurring around us, it is paramount that leaders of our business remain calm, prepare and stay as positive as possible to ensure business continues as normally as possible. At The Shore Group, we are taking measures to ensure our colleagues, clients and operatives are supported and informed and in particular we are currently putting large amounts of focus on our retail division who are currently experiencing huge demand.
Despite the decline in business within some industries, it has been supermarkets which have seen a spike in demand during the last few weeks. Larger supermarkets are familiar with higher customer volumes and increased demand during certain items, for example over the festive period, but these spikes have usually been predicted and prepared for both with staff and with stock level. However events such as this pandemic cannot be planned for and retailers across the UK are therefore depending on the Shore Group to support them with this unprecedented demand at this time of year.
The Shore Group are looking for up to 1,000 merchandisers and retail support staff to help some of the UK’s best known supermarkets. We are working across the nation, and ask that you help us spread the word to support every corner of the UK in its time of need. If you know someone who is looking for immediate part time work or someone who may be interested in spending some time helping the general public in this time of urgency, then please share this post with them and encourage them to send their CV here.
If you yourself are looking for immediate part time work or are a retailer in need of support, please call our designated retail hotline to register your interest 0115 684 9900.
We hope everyone stays safe and healthy during these unprecedented times and please continue to take care of yourself and each other.
