What is your role at The Shore Group?
I work in the accounts department, I primarily deal with the purchase ledger helping to control the costs of the company and maintaining supplier relationships.
How long have you been working at The Shore Group?
I have been with The Shore Group for 5 years now!
What do you like most about working at The Shore Group?
The thing I like most about working at The Shore Group is the relationships between all the employees. I like how everyone can so close even though we are spread out over the country, this way we are able to work as a team through the good and bad with ease.
How has it been working at The Shore Group during the pandemic?
Naturally the pandemic has been hard on everyone, I have been lucky enough to be continuously working bar the few weeks I was on furlough, it certainly hasn’t been easy, but I’ve felt supported and reassured the entire time, which is down to the amazing support systems we have in place here.
Tell us about some of the jobs you are working on at the moment?
I am currently working on improving the management of our supply chain compliance. This involves detailed reviews of each supplier in line with current legislation, ensuring the correct due diligence is being performed. This is essential to supporting the fast paced growth of the business in an ever changing legislative landscape whilst also making sure that The Shore Group can continue to provide the best service to both our clients and the operatives that we engage
What are your goals in the future?
My plan for the next few years to be AAT qualified and to hopefully start a family.Besides that my main goal is to continue learning and taking on new challenges in my position as the company grows. Bring on the next five years!
