A Day to Remember - Teenage Cancer Trust Charity Golf Day

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported and participated in our Charity Golf Day on June 27th at the picturesque Foxhills Club and Resort in support of Teenage Cancer Trust, a cause close to our hearts.

This year, we also introduced an exciting addition: the 'Learn to Love Golf' section. This new segment welcomed participants of all skill levels to practice with experienced coaches and enjoy time on the driving range before heading on the course.

“We’re huge advocates for boosting diversity in our sectors and we wanted to make sure our main fundraiser aligned with this. By making the day more accessible we absolutely achieved this, created a brilliant day for everyone and raised even more for TCT.”

Feedback from the event was overwhelmingly positive, with many participants eager to continue their golfing journey. The day not only raised crucial funds but also inspired a more inclusive approach to charity golf events. We’re also excited to announce that following the event our co-founder Lewis Yorke-Johnson has joined the Teenage Cancer Trust advisory board!

Interested in joining next year? Contact joy.huntley@theshoregroup.co.uk to reserve your spot.
Supporting Brighton Pride City Angels

The Shore Group proudly supported Brighton Pride City Angels! The collaborative panel, at Main Contractor Morgan Sindall Construction’s Kingsway to the Sea site on Hove seafront, was a testament to our collective commitment to inclusivity and community support.

Sponsorship Spotlight - Morgan Sindall’s Golf Day

We were thrilled to sponsor Morgan Sindall’s charity golf day in support of Rockinghorse Children’s Charity. Our team members Rob Green, Ross Donnelly, Owen Whitwell, and Charley Abbott did a fantastic job representing us. Well done to everyone involved in this meaningful fundraising event!

Worker Recognition in Health and Safety

We are proud to celebrate Kidanemariam, one of our Traffic Marshalls/Banksmen, for his outstanding commitment to health and safety on-site. Recognised by McLaren for his diligent work at their signature Thirty High project in London, Kidanemariam ensures all trade materials are safely offloaded. Well done, Kidanemariam!

The 3 Peaks Training Begins!

Our team has kicked off training sessions for the 3 Peaks Challenge, supporting Turning Tides, a local charity dedicated to combating homelessness in Sussex. With its ‘extreme’ rating, the challenge is no easy feat, and our team is working hard to get fit and ready for the multiple climbs.

We greatly appreciate any donations and support for this cause.
