WHO WE ARE

Our Retail division is a UK contractor and services business with over 500 directly employed colleagues and an extended workforce of more than 3,000 operating nationally. The Group was founded in 2008 and has grown consistently by building genuine capability rather than brokering work through others.

Our Retail operation is headquartered in Nottingham, where our 24x7 support centre, consolidation facility and operational hub sits at the centre of everything we deliver for retail clients across the UK. We have five offices nationwide, giving us genuine coverage from Scotland to the South Coast.

The Retail team is led by experienced operators who have spent their careers in retail construction, shopfitting, merchandising and property. They understand how retailers think, how programmes are planned, what goes wrong and how to prevent it. That knowledge is embedded in how we work, not just in the CVs of individual managers.

That self-delivery model is what makes our Racker-diser approach possible, using the same trained team for racking installation and merchandising to eliminate the handover gap and cut programme time by up to 29%. It is what makes our 24x7 support centre genuinely useful, because the people answering the phone are coordinating our own workforce, not chasing third parties. And it is what makes our costs more competitive than clients expect, because there are no agency margins, no sub-contractor markups and no fragmented overhead sitting between the work and the client.

We have delivered 70-store nationwide rollouts mobilised within six days of instruction. We have run conversion programmes spanning 48 stores simultaneously. We have managed estate-wide refit programmes covering 85 locations in a single year. We have merchandised new stores from blank canvas to ready-to-trade and supported brand activations across thousands of retail locations.

That track record is built on infrastructure. A 24x7 operational support centre. A national consolidation and logistics facility. A directly employed merchandising workforce of 500. A supply chain that we manage and quality-assure rather than simply pass risk down to. And a project management structure that can run multiple concurrent programmes across different clients, formats and geographies without losing grip on any of them.

We hold ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 27001 accreditations alongside Alcumus SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe, Achilles and Considerate Constructors registration. Our in-house SHEQ team operates across all retail programmes, providing site-level support and central oversight rather than leaving compliance to individual project teams.

For retail clients with their own stringent H&S requirements, our approach means we arrive prepared, we document properly and we manage subcontractors to the same standards we hold ourselves to.
