Our integrated supply chain from site setup to construction and maintenance drives efficiency into our delivery, reducing waste and duplication.
HOW WE DELIVER
All programmes are built on a realistic schedule based upon proven output levels which have previously delivered the correct targets from the outset, for programme, cost, quality, and risk. To further validate our build strategies, we engage with key members of our supply chain during the tender period to review programme outputs, methodology and sequence of works, to ensure robust programmes. This provides confidence that we will deliver programme surety alongside safety, quality, and sustainability.
Building Right First Time and guaranteeing that we deliver on our promises is a key aspect of our offer. At the heart of this, is a consistent approach to quality drawn from our experience of end-to-end project delivery. Working in partnership with client teams, we ensure we address quality at every step, efficiency and safety, from design through to final fit-out.
OUR PEOPLE
For each project we select an expert and experienced team with the relevant experience to the scheme to the exact standards demanded. Project team members are appointed based upon proven past delivery and their qualifications. The project leadership are supported by onsite management and supervisory team as well as visiting specialists who provide quality expertise to benefit the project.
Achieving a quality product relies on teamwork and a shared goal from those at the sharp end who are hands on in the construction process. From the out-set, we implement a daily ‘huddle’ to drive teamwork, and a shared quality goal through the project. In this forum each subcontractor can explain their plans for the day and any interface issues can be ironed out. The process of streamlining the sequence of operations brings big quality payback as well as allowing each trade to work economically.
PRIORITISING HEALTH & SAFETY
During pre-construction, our SHE Team, together with the project leadership, will assess all develop a site-specific Pre-construction Health & Safety Plan that encapsulates risk, roles, responsibilities. This is developed to incorporate the detailed Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) that will required for the various elements of work. Our experience means we can provide comprehensive support to assist the client in completion of their pre-tender information and fulfilling their own obligations.
COMMERCIAL EXPERTISE
Our Commercial team is experienced in estimating and bidding for construction work, producing construction budgets and cost analysis. Each development produces a cost value reconciliation that is reviewed, updated, and monitored from start to completion of the development.
We has strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and hire companies that are tried and tested who operate as our partners. We have a comprehensive procurement process to ensure that businesses within the supply chain are resilient, and well-suited for the relevant development.
DESIGN & VALUE ENGINEERING
Our design team co-ordinates all aspects of the design process including co-ordination and clear communication with the client to understand their expectations and deliver their vision, management of planning conditions through to full discharge and engage with local authorities.
In addition our Design team co-ordinates each scheme with architects, structural engineers, and associated consultants, to scrutinise designs to ensure their proposals are buildable, and challenge designs to attain optimum build solutions.
