OVERVIEW

This project involved the comprehensive fit-out of Unilever’s new Kingston offices, delivered over a 50-week programme. The development forms part of Unilever’s wider modernisation initiative, creating an advanced workspace that reflects the company’s focus on innovation, collaboration and sustainability. As part of the delivery team supporting Overbury, our logistics and site management services were integral to maintaining efficiency, safety and organisation throughout the project.

SCOPE OF WORK

Our scope covered full logistics and operational support across the site, ensuring seamless coordination between multiple trades and suppliers. Services included welfare management and maintenance, material movement and distribution, traffic and delivery management, handyman works and on-site security supervision.


We provided strategic oversight of deliveries and waste management to maintain clean and compliant working environments while optimising flow through a restricted loading bay. Our team also managed workforce welfare facilities and implemented efficient systems to support Overbury’s fast-track delivery programme.

CHALLENGES

The Kingston site presented a number of operational challenges. The constrained loading bay and limited site access demanded precise scheduling and coordination. The fast-paced programme further intensified the need for responsive management, with multiple trades requiring simultaneous access to restricted zones. Additionally, the project’s central location required strict adherence to local authority regulations.
