OVERVIEW
Our Civils Division is proud to be working in partnership with Mildren Construction on the Saltbox Project, a major commercial development situated in Bognor Regis.
Construction commenced in August 2025. The full development will comprise 11 state-of-the-art logistics and trade counter units, delivering approximately 204,993 sq ft of premium industrial space.
Strategically located within Saltbox Business Park, this project is being delivered with a strong focus on sustainability and energy efficiency, aiming to achieve both BREEAM Excellent and EPC A ratings. Completion is anticipated in August 2026.
SCOPE OF WORK
During our initial 11 weeks on-site, our Civils team successfully completed a comprehensive package, including:
Attendance and support during CMC piling operations
Formation of 1,200m² of car parking areas
Construction of a 1,600m² haul road
Installation of approximately 500m of drainage
Excavation and placement of 1,200m³ of concrete foundations, incorporating 213 sets of holding-down bolts
The main spine road has been constructed to base macadam level to improve site logistics and maintain cleanliness across the development.
