Social Values and Sustainability Policy

1. Introduction

In the last 24 months, the scope of The Shore Group’s operations has been rapidly diversifying and expanding. This has seen the Group evolve from a primarily office-based resourcing business into a provider of a wide range of services into sectors including the built environment, property, retail, data, and aviation.

The Shore Group now offers contractor packages, builder’s work, temporary works, site logistics, civil engineering, retail refits, planned maintenance, and fixed price M&E works in addition to its heritage recruitment and payroll services.

The Shore Group’s senior management is committed to minimising the impact that its business activities have on the environment and to positively influence the communities they operate in.

This policy statement sets out The Shore Group’s goals, targets, and aspirations and highlights how we expect to achieve these for the newly diversified service offering.

Due to the rapid pace of change, the Company has identified 2026 as its baseline year to capture, measure, and report on the factors highlighted in this statement. The results will help to form our reduction and improvement targets with the aim of achieving our goals and embedding sustainability and social responsibility across our operations and supply chain by 2030.

To support this, The Shore Group aims to publish an impact statement at the end of 2025.

2. Scope

Our approach is built on three fundamental pillars:

  1. Protection of the planet: Minimising our environmental footprint

  2. Empowering our people: Fostering inclusive growth and wellbeing

  3. Promoting prosperity: Creating sustainable value for all stakeholders

The aims, objectives, and actions in place to achieve them, highlighted in this statement, are applicable to all The Shore Group’s business activities.

We have utilised the following UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to align our strategy with:

  • SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy

  • SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth

  • SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities

  • SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production

  • SDG 13: Climate Action

  • SDG 15: Life on Land

  • SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals

3. Responsibilities, Approval and Review

This policy statement is approved by The Shore Group’s Board of Directors, and it is their responsibility to ensure that it is implemented throughout the Group.

Each Divisional Director is responsible for supporting this policy within their division and ensuring that all employees and contractors understand and are committed to its objectives.

The Social Values Committee meets monthly to review performance against targets and disseminate improvement and action plans through the Group. The Board is represented in the committee, and updates are regularly reported to business owners.

The Compliance Department is responsible for reviewing the implementation of the agreed actions across The Shore Group’s offices and sites. Any non-conformance or areas for improvement identified will result in corrective action plans, which are monitored until closure.

This policy statement and associated strategy will be reviewed annually by senior management to ensure it remains relevant, applicable, and effective.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) will be established to monitor performance. Each target will be supported by specific KPIs that are:
