Project Overview
The Shore Group’s Recruitment division supported McLaren on the flagship Edward Street Quarter project by providing a skilled and reliable workforce to meet the demands of a large and complex development. By delivering a tailored labour solution, the team ensured the project had consistent access to qualified operatives across a wide range of roles. This collaborative approach enabled the workforce to scale in line with project requirements, contributing to the successful progression and delivery of the scheme.
Planning & Programme Strategy
A structured workforce planning strategy ensured the project had the right people in the right roles at the right time. By maintaining an average of 57 operatives on-site and scaling the workforce as required, our Recruitment team supported programme continuity across multiple workstreams. Collaboration with McLaren also enabled the team to fulfil Section 106 requirements, including the upskilling of 11 workers, contributing to both workforce development and the wider local community.
Scope of Works
Our Recruitment team supplied a comprehensive workforce solution to support the project’s operational needs. Over the course of the project, we delivered more than 180,000 labour hours through a team of 133 operatives, maintaining an average of 57 workers on-site at any given time. The workforce covered a broad range of roles, including project managers, site managers, carpenters, labourers, traffic marshals and cleaners. In addition to site-based roles, we also provided resourcing support for document control and administrative positions to assist with the project’s wider operational requirements.
