The Shore Group Partners with Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club and Brighton Rugby
The Shore Group has announced major new partnerships with Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club and Brighton Rugby Club, reinforcing its commitment to supporting sport, opportunity and community across the city.
As part of the agreements, The Shore Group has become the named sponsor of one of the 1901 Lounges at the Amex Stadium, alongside gaining advertising signage rights throughout the stadium. The company has also become the lead shirt and club sponsor of Brighton Rugby Club, supporting the men's, women's and junior sections of one of the world's oldest rugby clubs.
For The Shore Group, the partnerships are about far more than sponsorship. They represent a long-term investment in the city that has played a central role in the company's growth and success.
The connection to Brighton & Hove Albion is particularly personal. Ross Yorke-Johnson, brother of The Shore Group co-founder Lewis Yorke-Johnson, played for Albion during one of the most significant periods in the club's history, including the famous 1997 relegation decider at Hereford that secured the club's Football League status.
"I grew up in Brighton. This city is in everything we've built," said Lewis Yorke-Johnson, co-founder of The Shore Group. "I never imagined we'd have our name at the Amex. Having my brother Ross involved, someone who wore the Albion shirt and understands what this club means to the city, makes it incredibly special. Brighton has always backed us; this is our way of backing Brighton."
James Hobden, co-founder of The Shore Group, added:
"If you do right by the people and communities around you, you build something worth having. Brighton Rugby and the Albion have both earned this city's respect through hard work and genuine commitment to their communities. That's something we admire and aspire to as a business. We're committed to making sure these partnerships create real and lasting value for the people of Brighton."
Russ Wood, Chief Commercial Officer at Brighton & Hove Albion, said:
"We are thrilled to welcome The Shore Group to the club as a lounge partner. As a prominent local employer with deep roots in Brighton & Hove, they share our pride in Sussex and our dedication to supporting and celebrating the local business community. We look forward to working closely with them over the next three years to build a successful and long-lasting partnership."
Mark Gibb, Chairman of Brighton Rugby Football Club, said:
"We're incredibly excited to welcome The Shore Group as our official kit sponsor across all teams. This partnership represents far more than a logo on a shirt. It brings together two organisations that share a genuine commitment to supporting and strengthening our local community.
These partnerships mark a significant milestone for The Shore Group and reflect the company's belief that successful businesses should play an active role in supporting the communities they serve. By partnering with two of Brighton's most respected sporting institutions, The Shore Group is investing in the future of the city, both on the field and beyond it.
