TACTICAL MERCHANDISING & BRAND ACTIVATION

Getting product on shelf is one thing. Making sure it is in the right place, presented correctly, fully stocked and visually compelling is another. That is where we come in.

READY TO WORK TOGETHER?

WHAT WE DO

IN-STORE ACTIVATION

Shore Group provides tactical merchandising and brand activation services across the UK, delivered by a directly employed field team of 500. No agency layers. No sub-contractors. The same people, accountable to us, operating to our standards, every time. When execution matters, that consistency is the difference between a campaign that lands and one that doesn't.

We work with retailers, brands and manufacturers who need reliable field presence at scale. Whether that is a single burst of activity around a product launch, ongoing tactical support across a defined store estate, or rapid deployment to plug a gap in coverage, we have the resource and the infrastructure to deliver it.

TACTICAL MERCHANDISING

Range changes, promotional resets, planogram compliance, new product launches — we deploy fast and execute to spec. When your field team is at capacity, when you need coverage at short notice, or when a campaign needs to land in hundreds of locations simultaneously, we have the resource to make it happen without compromising on quality.

Our teams are experienced working in live trading environments. We understand how retailers operate, what store managers expect, and how to get the job done without disrupting the shop floor or the customer experience. That practical knowledge, built across years of programme delivery for major grocery, convenience and DIY retailers, means we don't need to be managed closely. We turn up prepared and we report back clearly.

What we cover: range resets and category reflows, planogram compliance and corrective merchandising, new product placement and facing alignment, stock replenishment and gap scanning, promotional fixture installation and takedown, POS placement, refresh and removal.

We have operated at scale across Tesco, Morrisons, AS Watson and The Range, and our call file management and scheduling capability means we can coordinate large-scale programmes without putting the administrative burden back on you.

BRAND ACTIVATION

When a brand needs a presence in store, it needs to be right. Poorly installed fixtures, missing POS, off-plan displays — they undermine investment and erode trust with retailers. We make sure that doesn't happen.

Our teams handle the full scope of in-store brand activation: POS and display equipment installation, fixture builds and branded fixture maintenance, new product launch support, campaign compliance checks and in-store audit activity across multiple locations running simultaneously. Where a campaign requires a consistent look and feel across hundreds of stores, we coordinate the deployment, manage the exceptions and provide clear completion reporting so you know exactly where you stand.

We have delivered brand activation for British American Tobacco across 4,600 retail units and supported cosmetics fixture delivery across 26 Primark stores. Programmes of that scale require more than willing hands. They require planning, logistics, experienced team leadership and a reporting structure that gives clients visibility throughout. We have built all of that into how we work.

For brands entering new retail partnerships or extending their in-store footprint, we can also support the initial ranging and fixture setup, giving you a clean launch platform before handing back to your own team or continuing as an ongoing field partner.

FAST MOBILISATION

Retail doesn't wait. Neither do we. Opportunities move quickly, and so do the problems — a competitor gaining shelf space, a promotion going live without the right POS in place, a fixture that needs correcting before the weekend trade hits. Our model is built for pace.

Our 24-hour support centre handles scheduling, route planning and real-time coordination, and our account management team is structured to mobilise quickly when timelines are tight. We maintain a standing workforce rather than building teams from scratch for each assignment, which means we can confirm resource, brief teams and have people in store faster than agencies relying on casual or crowd-sourced models.

Whether you need ten people in store next week or a hundred deployed across the country next month, we can resource it. And because our teams are directly employed, we can brief them properly, hold them to our standards, and give you a consistent quality of execution regardless of where in the UK the work is taking place.

VISIBILITY AND REPORTING

Good field activity is only as valuable as the insight it generates. Our teams capture completion data, photographic evidence and exception reporting as standard, giving you a clear record of what was done, where and when. For compliance-focused programmes, that audit trail matters. For ongoing tactical activity, it tells you where to focus next.

We work with clients to agree reporting formats and KPIs upfront, so the data we return is useful rather than just voluminous. If something isn't right in store, we flag it and resolve it rather than logging it and moving on.

ONE TEAM. FULL SCOPE.

Most tactical merchandising providers stop at the shelf. We don't have to. Because Shore Group also delivers store fit-out, racking installation, strip-out and property works, our merchandising teams can slot into a broader programme without the handoff risk that comes from managing separate contractors.

For clients running capital programmes alongside tactical field activity — a refit rolling out across a store estate while range resets and brand activations are running concurrently — that joined-up model removes duplication, simplifies communication and reduces overall cost. One account relationship, one point of contact, one team that understands the full picture.

It is a capability the specialist field marketing agencies cannot offer. For clients who value it, it changes the conversation.
