OVERVIEW
Reflecting on some of the major projects we've contributed to, the Battersea Power Station stands out as a remarkable example. Once a derelict landmark, this historic site originally supplied a fifth of London’s electricity at its peak but had been abandoned for decades.
The £9 billion redevelopment project has completely transformed the area, introducing retail spaces, restaurants, offices and mixed-use developments. Today, it is celebrated as one of London’s most exciting new destinations.
SCOPE OF WORK
The Shore Group played a key role in supporting one of the M&E contractors in delivering essential services. Our team provided up to 50 M&E tradespeople, working across four distinct phases:
Switch House East
Pump House
Three Basement Levels
Apple Offices
The Shore Group was audited and approved as one of only six agencies permitted on-site, ensuring compliance and excellence in execution.
Our contribution to this iconic project underscores our commitment to delivering high-quality workforce solutions for complex, large-scale developments.
SOLUTIONS / BENEFITS
Our team’s performance and compliance standards earned us a place as one of only six labour agencies authorised to operate on-site. This approval, combined with our ability to resource multiple project areas simultaneously, helped ensure timely programme delivery and consistent quality across a high-profile, complex redevelopment.
