PROJECT OVERVIEW
The project involved the full strip-out and soft demolition of a three-floor building, preparing the space for future redevelopment. Works included the removal of internal elements and services, along with responsible waste management and recycling, including the donation of floor tiles to the Salvation Army.
PLANNING & PROGRAMME STRATEGY
A phased approach was adopted across all three floors to ensure efficient progression of works. Activities were sequenced to prioritise structural strip-out, followed by services removal and waste clearance, with careful coordination to maintain safety and minimise disruption.
SCOPE OF WORKS
Complete removal of all partition walls, doors, and floor coverings was carried out across three floors. A full strip-out of mechanical and electrical services from ceilings and beneath flooring was completed. Raised flooring on the ground floor was removed, along with the demolition of bulkheads on each level.
PROJECT DELIVERY
All materials were managed and removed off-site in line with sustainability objectives. Timber and carpet tiles were diverted to charitable reuse, while remaining waste streams were processed through appropriate recycling channels.
