A Complex Bridge Lift

Last week saw the culmination of months of planning, teamwork and coordination to install the 44-tonne bridge at The Forum, Kings Quarter.
As the Site Logistics provider on this huge city centre regeneration project in Gloucester, Shore Group Logistics worked in partnership with Main Contractor Kier, Kings Heavy Haulage and Keyway to make the bridge installation run smoothly.
From the extensive planning prior to the lift…
To engaging with Gloucestershire Police and the local authority…
To the test journey…
To the final operation and installation.
