Jun 30, 2025
A Day on the Green That Made a Difference
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Charity Golf Day 2025 – what an amazing day it turned out to be!
Hosted at the stunning Foxhills Golf Club, the event was a huge success in both fundraising and community spirit. Attendees ranged from golfing beginners to seasoned pros, all united for a meaningful cause – raising awareness and support for Teenage Cancer Trust.
A Story That Touched Hearts
One of the most moving moments of the day came from our guest speaker, Taylor O’Farrell, who bravely shared his personal journey with cancer. His courage and honesty left a deep impact on everyone present, reminding us all why supporting organisations like Teenage Cancer Trust is so vital. Many generous donations were made following Taylor’s emotional story – thank you to all who contributed.
Star Power on the Course
We were honoured to welcome professional golfer and two-time LET winner, Annabel Dimmock. Annabel brought both star quality and golfing expertise to the event – offering tips, challenging teams on the green and sharing her own inspiring story. Her presence truly elevated the day for many participants.
A Perfectly Hosted Day
Thank you to Ian Stafford, who hosted the day with enthusiasm and flair. His energy helped keep the event flowing and engaging from start to finish.
And of course, an extra special shout-out to our very own Joy Huntley, whose meticulous planning ensured that everything ran seamlessly. Organising an event of this scale is no small feat, and Joy’s efforts behind the scenes didn’t go unnoticed.
Until Next Year…
The response from attendees has been overwhelmingly positive, from the community on the course to the powerful stories shared. It was a day filled with networking and fun, and we can’t wait to do it all again next year.
Thank you to everyone who supported, donated, attended or helped make the day possible. Your kindness and generosity are helping make a real difference in the lives of young people facing cancer.
