Supporting Future Careers at Brighton Chamber’s Hello Future Event
Jun 30, 2025
Many students feel uncertain about their next steps after education, which is exactly why events like Hello Future are so important.
The Shore Group was proud to take part in this inspiring event, delivered by Brighton Chamber at the Brighton Centre. Designed for college students and young people exploring future career options, the event brought together employers, educators and industry professionals to provide valuable insight and guidance.
With over 1,000 students in attendance, there was a strong appetite for information on apprenticeships, work experience and career pathways. Our team had the opportunity to speak not only with students, but also with colleges and businesses about building meaningful partnerships that support long-term student development.
It was particularly encouraging to see such high levels of engagement throughout the day. Students were keen to ask questions, understand their options, and explore opportunities that could support them after their studies or alongside their current courses.
Working across a range of industries, including construction, we understand that there can still be uncertainty around available career paths. Events like Hello Future provide an ideal platform to address this, and we were pleased to share real-life stories from our apprentices, highlighting their journeys and where they are today.
We would like to thank Brighton Chamber for organising such a fantastic event, as well as the American Express volunteers who helped make the day a success. A special thank you also goes to our team members Ross Donnelly, Luke Guainiere, Andrew Cooper-Keith, Jess Peskett, Ashley Perry, Caitlin Roberts and Georgia Plati, who represented The Shore Group brilliantly.
